Who is data controller

An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, for example via name, email address or phone number. We store your personal data for as long as is stipulated in this agreement. Thereafter, the data is either deleted or anonymized so it can no longer be tied to you. 

  

How we protect and handle your personal data 

We have taken both organizational and technical measures to protect your data and to comply with GDPR. 

Partners handling personal data on our behalf (such as shipping partners and technology development partners) have signed personal data assistant agreements with us. We can guarantee that your personal data is handled correctly and safely. We share your personal data with some companies and organizations with independent data responsibility when necessary or when we are forced by law (for example payment solution companies or government authorities). When your data is shared with these companies and organizations, their data privacy policies apply. 

  

Your rights 

You decide over your personal data and what we can do with it. You always have the right to know which personal data we have and how we handle it. You have the right to have your personal data corrected, limited or erased. You have the right to move your personal data from us to another data controller. We can only provide the goods and personalized services ordered by you if you provide us with your personal data. For the purpose of providing these services, we collect personal data about you such as your name, address, date of birth, email address, telephone or mobile phone number. This data is collected from bywomenstore.com as well as social media networks (such as Instagram and Pinterest).

Order fulfillment on bywomenstore.com and in social media 

Personal data is used to fulfill orders placed on bywomenstore.com or in social media (such as Instagram). 

Type of personal data collected: Name, address, e-mail, phone number, possible customer number, IP-address, payment details, as well as purchase and order history. 

How the personal data is used: We collect and process your personal data for the following purposes: to allow us to fulfill our contract with you including taking payment, any related anti-fraud checks if you choose to pay by credit/debit card, billing, shipping and delivery of the product and possible handling of the return. 

How long the personal data is kept: We keep the personal data until the order is fulfilled (including delivery and payment) and until the end of the relevant accounting period, normally ten (10) years from the billing date. 

What the legal basis is: fulfillment of contractual obligation in the order agreement.

Personal data is used to provide customer support. 

Type of personal data collected: Name, address, e-mail, phone number, possible customer number, IP-address, payment details, purchase and order history, as well as any correspondence you have with us. 

How the personal data is used: We collect and process your personal data for the following purposes:  to respond to your requests for help or information. 

How long the personal data is kept: When you contact us for customer support, we will keep any additional personal data you provide that is specific to your inquiry for as long as you remain an active customer of bywomenstore.com.

What the legal basis is: fulfillment of contractual obligation in the order agreement. 

  

Shipping and Returns 

Personal data is used to process shipping and returns. 

Type of personal data collected: Name, address, e-mail, phone number, possible customer number, IP-address, payment details, as well as purchase and order history, and any information given to our customer support team. 

How the personal data is used: We collect and process your personal data for the following purposes:  to respond to your requests to ship or return your products. 

How long the personal data is kept: We keep the personal data until the order is fulfilled (including delivery and payment) and until the end of the relevant accounting period, normally ten (10) years from the billing date. 

What the legal basis is: fulfillment of contractual obligation in the order agreement. Our use of your data is also necessary for our and your legitimate interest in ensuring that you may return your products and we can process them. 

   

Fulfill legal obligations 

Personal data is used to fulfill our legal obligations from laws, regulations and court orders. Such an obligation could be accounting records containing personal data, which is required to be kept for seven (7) years according to the Swedish Bookkeeping Act.

How the personal data is used: It could be for bookkeeping, for instance. 

How long the personal data is kept: We keep the personal data for as long as we are legally required to.
